Doe runners is a women's trail running group based out of Milton Keynes founded by Claire Maley.
There's no membership fee, it's not a club, but rather a group of women who meet up and explore the countryside.
The purpose of the group is to make trail running accessible to all women, no matter what age, pace, or background.
After listening to podcasts and entering events it became evident that trail running is still a male dominated activity, Doe runners is here to create an accessible way for all women to get into it, for questions to be asked, discussions to be had about how not to get lost, what to eat and everything in-between.
Trail running can be such an adventure, it doesn't matter what pace you are going, how far you're going or what you look like, it's about fresh air, beautiful views, being surrounded by nature and good company.
Our group runs vary between social 5K runs, 10k and longer distance runs. We recommend that you can run constantly for 2 miles before joining our 5K social runs and work your way up the miles if you intend to join longer runs.
You do not need to have run off road before.
